The winners of Tokyo Anime Award Festival
A few days ago, the ceremony of the Tokyo Anime Award Festival was held, revealing the winners of this year.
For the Theatrical Animation Division, the award went to Love Live! The School Idol Movie.
The award of the Television Animation Division went to Shirobako.
Moreover, Gintama won the Animation of the Year: Anime Fan Award.
The individual awards follows:
Best Director: Yoichi Fujita (Binbougami ga!)
Best Script & Original Story: Shuu Matsubara (Osomatsu-san)
Best Animator: Chikashi Kubota (Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo)
Best Character Design & Mechanical Design: Naoyuki Asano (Saint☆Oniisan (Movie))
We should note that the titles listed next to the names of the winners are not the anime they were awarded for, but a series in which they have worked on.

Ashida, Urakami and Shigeru Mizuki passed away before receiving their prize.
