The award-winning Japanese start-up Vinclu made the first Hologram Communication Robot Gatebox, which has the figure of a cute girl, ready to cheer you up in your difficult everyday life. Her name is Azuma Hikari and she is the first character of the company. 

Azuma monitors your behavior, pays attention to your interests and informs you about topics such as weather forecast, helping you plan your daily life. Furthermore, she welcomes you when you return home, runs your internet search and she is even able to turn on the lights or to prepare the bath. Of course, this implies a house with the appropriate equipment.

The first promotional video was released in January, claiming that Gatebox can help somebody in his everyday life and the last trailer shows how it can keep company to its owner, having even a non-verbal communication. 

According to the company, what they try is to break the boundaries between different dimensions, aiming to create a world where digital heroes and heroines can coexist with people. With the power of Gatebox Lab technology, they try to reduce more the distance, achieving communication with them.
