As announced by the first year's volume of Shueisha’s Shonen Jump GIGA magazine, a spinoff manga comes for Kōhei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia). The title will be Vigilante -Boku no Hero Academia ILLEGALS- and it will be released in the second issue of the magazine, on August 20. However, the magazine did not specify whether it will be one-shot or series.

Hideyuki Furuhashi will write the script and Court Betten will provide the art. The plot will focus on illegal heroes.

The original My Hero Academia manga launched in 2014 in Weekly Shonen Jump. The first anime series premiered last April, while the second season has already been announced.
