Sad news for the Welcome to the Ballroom manga fans, as it’s going on hiatus for two months. The news were announced in the January 2018 issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine. Tomo Takeuchi's manga series will be absent from the February and March issues, but it will return in the April issue.

Takeuchi had revealed last month that the story of the television anime would pass the manga before the end of the Metropolitan Tournament. The manga chapter released in October had fewer pages due to the creator's health.

Welcome to the Ballroom manga made its debut in Monthly Shonen Magazine in 2011. On July 8, the television anime series premiered, which is listed with 24 episodes.
