Ichigo Takano's Orange manga may have been completed since August 2015, but a new chapter comes on May 25. The new was revealed in the June issue of the Futabasha Monthly Action magazine, while the new chapter will be released in the next issue.

Takano launched the manga in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret magazine in 2012, and in 2013 it moved to Monthly Action. In 2015 it was completed, inspiring a live-action film in December of the same year. Last July, the television anime was released and Orange-Miranda (Orange: Future) anime film premiered in November. A spinoff manga titled "Orange-Suwa Hiroto" is based on its story written by Takano herself.
