Noragami manga goes on extended hiatus
The hiatus of Adachitoka's Noragami: Stray God manga will be extended due to the recuperation of one of his two creators from an illness. The announcement was made in the June issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine, with the editorial staff stating that it is currently unknown when it will return and did not specify which of the Adachitoka members is recovering from an the illness. The return date will be published at a later time when it is decided.
The 75th chapter of the manga did not appear in the May issue of the magazine as originally planned. The editorial staff said then that this unexpected break was due to unclear "circumstances".
Adachitoka launched the manga in 2010 in Monthly Shonen Magazine. Its story inspired a 12-episode television anime series that premiered in January 2014, while the second season titled Noragami Aragoto followed in October 2015. Moreover, two stage plays were based on the manga.
