Devils and Realist manga is coming to an end as announced in the March issue of Ichijinsha's Comic Zero Sum magazine. Madaka Takadono and Utako Yukihiro’s manga will be completed in the next issue of the magazine, which will be released in February.

Artist Yukihiro (Uta no Prince Sama) and novelist Takadono (Hakushakuke Goyōtashi) launched the manga in the Monthly Comic Zero Sum magazine in 2009. In 2013, a 12-episode anime adaptation series premiered, directed by Chiaki Kon (Junjō Romantica, When They Cry - Higurashi, La storia della Arcana Famiglia). The manga has also inspired two musical adaptations.
