With the release of Berserk manga chapter 351 in the 13th issue of Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine, it was announced that Kentarou Miura's manga will go on another hiatus and return around winter. The manga's previous hiatus lasted from September 2016 untill March 2017.

Miura launched Berserk in 1989, while the first television anime series was released in 1997. An anime movie trilogy followed from 2012 to 2013 and a new anime series premiered in July 2016. The latest season premiered last April.
