Hiroyuki Aigamo's Accel World manga was completed with the last chapter been published in the 56th issue of Kadokawa's Dengeki Bunko Magazine last Friday. The manga is an adaptation of Reki Kawahara’s light novels.

Aigamo launched Accel World in 2010, while the eighth and final volume is slated for release on July 27th. The light novel series has also inspired 24-episode television anime, which premiered in 2012. In July 2015, an anime movie titled Accel World: Infinite Burst was released and two more manga (Akariryuryuu’s Axel World and Accel World / Dural: Magisa Garden) are based on its story.
