Good news coming for Blue Exorcist, as according to an announcement of Shueisha's Jump SQ Magazine, the release of Kazue Katō's 20th manga volume on October 4 will be combined with the release of a new anime DVD. The anime will adapt the story of Ao no Exorcist: Spy Game from Aya Yajima's novel, which focuses on Renzo Shima.

Shueisha is also publishing a Kazue Katō Art Collection IROIRO book on May 2.

Katō launched the manga in Jump SQ in 2009. The second season of the Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga (Kyoto Fujō Ō-hen) TV anime premiered last January.
