During the "Mayo (w) i Inu-tachi no Utage Sono Ni" event held in Yokohama on Sunday, it was announced by the production that a new film project has gotten the green light for Bungo Stray Dogs anime. Besides the film, the anime will also get a stage play adaptation. More information will be released in the near future.

Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa’ s manga has inspired two television anime seasons. The first 12-episode season premiered in April 2016, while the second followed on October 5.
