Last August, it was revealed in the 14th volume of Akame ga KILL! that the manga had yet another volume to complete its story. Square Enix’ s Gangan Joker magazine has now announced in the November issue that Takahiro and Tetsuya Tashiro’s Akame ga KILL! will end in the January issue. The last chapter will be released specifically on December 22, while the 15th and last volume of the manga is slated for this winter.

Akame ga KILL! entered the final arc in 2014, while the prequel Akame ga KILL! Zero is approaching the end of the story, according to an announcement made in June 2015.

Takahiro and Tashiro launched the manga in 2010, in Square Enix’ s Monthly Gangan Joker magazine, while Akame ga KILL! Zero of Kei Toru was launched in 2013 in Monthly Big Gangan magazine. In 2014, a 24-episodes anime series aired.
