Two days before their 15th anniversary, the GazettE is preparing the release of a new "best of" album with their best ballads. Specifically, the album is titled "Ballad Best Album - TRACES Vol. 2" and will be released on March 8. The band will re-record all the songs that will be included in the album.

In 2011, the GazettE released their first best album titled TRACES featuring some of their most popular songs that were released between 2005 and 2009. TRACES Vol. 2 includes ballads from the whole history of the band and consists of two versions, regular and limited. The songs selected for the album are the following:
