As revealed in the 51th volume of Kadokawa’ s Dengeki Bunko Magazine, the new Strike the Blood OVA series will consist of four two-episode volumes. The OVA will start by depicting the story in the 9th volume of the Gakuto Mikumo’s homonymous novel, which takes place in Blue Elysium, a resort facility near Itogami Island.

The release of the first OVA volume is scheduled for November 23, the second volume will be released on December 21, while the third and the fourth will be released on March 29, 2017 and April 26, 2017 respectively.

In 2013, the 24-episodes television anime series was released, followed by a two-episodes OVA last November and December. In 2012, the story was adapted into manga and launched in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine.
