Kohei Horikoshi’ s My Hero Academia manga will have an one issue pause according to an announcement of this year's 14th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The manga will not appear in this issue because of Horikoshi's sudden illness. The editorial staff of the magazine stated that My Hero Academia will return in the 15th issue of the magazine, which will be released on March 13.

Horikoshi launched the superhero manga series in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in July 2014, while the first 13-episode anime season premiered in April 2016. The second season will be released on March 25 with the first episode recapping the first season.
