Everything about Tokyo Ghoul:re anime

The first promotional video, cast and premiere for the new Tokyo Ghoul:re anime series were revealed during this year's Jump Festa in Japan. Exact date for the premiere has not yet been announced, but it is known that the adaptation of Sui Ishida's manga will be released in April 2018.

The cast includes:

  • Kaito Ishikawa as Kuki Urie
  • Yūma Uchida as Ginshi Shirazu
  • Natsumi Fujiwara as Tōru Mutsuki
  • Ayane Sakura as Saiko Yonebayashi
  • Natsuki Hanae as Ken Kaneki/Haise Sasaki

 

Odahiro Watanabe (Soul Buster, assistant director at Super Lovers 2, Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid) will replace Shuhei Morita in the series direction at Perriot. Chūji Mikasano will return from the previous two anime for the series composition and the script, while Atsuko Nakajima (Ranma ½, You're Under Arrest, You Do not You Heard? I'm Sakamoto) replaces Kazuhiro Miwa in character design.

Ishida launched Tokyo Ghoul manga in Weekly Young Jump magazine in 2011 and it was completed in 2014. Shortly after, in October 2014, Tokyo Ghoul:re was launched.
