Everything about Αccel World VS Sword Art Online game
The release of the crossover game Αccel World VS Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight is approaching its release and Bandai Namco Entertainment began streaming the third promotional trailer last Thursday. The game will be released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita consoles and will go on sale on March 16 in Japan.
According to a new announcement of Bandai, Accel World VS Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight will be also available in North America and Europe this summer only in digital form. The audio will be Japanese, but there will be English, Spanish and French subtitles.
The third trailer of the game:
The game’s theme song is titled "SxW -soul world-" by KOTOKO and Luna Haruna, who previously performed theme songs for the Accel World and Sword Art Online anime series respectively.
The game will include the Sword Art Online characters Kirito, Asuna, Lisbeth and Silica, while from Accel World will be Kuroyukihime / Black Lotus, Silver Crow, Scarlet Rain and Lime Bell. The voice actors remain the same, reprising their roles from the anime series adaptations.
Bandai Namco Entertainment describes the history of the game as follows:
Svart Alfheim and the Accelerated World have begun to merge. In the midst of the chaos, Yui has gone missing. Kirito must challenge the Seven Kings of pure color from the Accelerated World to gain access to her location. Players from both groups come together in a war of the worlds where the strongest Burst Linkers and ALO Players are on a mission to save Yui from the hands of Personna Babel.
First-print copies of the game in Japan will include costumes from the upcoming Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale movie for Kirito and Asuna. Moreover, they will contain a download code that makes the Alfheim Online version of Sachi a playable character.
Both Accel World and Sword Art Online are light novels of Reki Kawahara. Sword Art Online begins in 2022, while Accel World takes place in 2046. Both stories have inspired numerous anime projects, manga adaptations, spinoffs and video games.
