ONE OK ROCK awarded at the MTV Europe Music Awards
On Sunday, November 6 this year's MTV European Music Awards (MTV EMA) were conducted in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Among the prizes that are awarded to artists from various countries across continents, the Best Japanese Act category is included. The prize for 2016 went to ONE OK ROCK, defeating Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Perfume, RADWIMPS and Shiina Ringo that were the other nominees of the category.
ONE OK ROCK released their new single entitled Taking off on September 16 and on October 25, the music video for the homonymous song was published. In 2017, they are preparing the release of the 8th studio album, details of which we expect in the near future.
