YOSHIKI, leader of X Japan, canceled his appearance at this year's Anime Expo as originally planned. He announced the news on his personal Twitter account. The reason seems to be his recovery from the surgery that he underwent, delaying the rehearsal of the band. Apologizing to the world, he added, “but i'll see you soon”. 

YOSHIKI recently underwent surgery for cervical artificial disc replacement in Los Angeles and is expected to recover 90% within six months.
