On Tuesday November 11, the official website of Cardcaptor Sakura anime revealed a second key visual for the upcoming Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card anime, in which we can see Kinomoto Sakura, Kerberos (also known as Kero-chan), Kinomoto Touya and Tsukishiro Yukito, Daidouji Tomoyo and Li Shaoran. Moreover, the premiere of the series was announced, which will take place on January 7.

Beyond these familiar faces, two new characters are featured in the anime. A girl named Akiho Shinomoto and a guy on her side, Yuna D. Kaito. But more information about them you will learn in the anime.

The same day, the NHK channel announced the return of six voice actors from the previous Cardcaptor Sakura anime:

• Hideyuki Tanaka as Fujitaka Kinomoto (Sakura and Touya's father)
• Yumi Touma as Spinel Sun (or Suppi) and
• Ryoka Yuzuki as Nakuru Akizuki/Ruby Moon (Eriol's guardians)
• Issei Miyazaki as Takashi Yamazaki,
• Miwa Matsumoto as Chiharu Mihara and
• Emi Motoi as Naoko Yanagisawa (Sakura's classmates)

Morio Asaka is returning from the first television anime series and two films to direct the new series at Madhouse. CLAMP's Nanase Ohkawa is composing the series and writing the scripts, while Kunihiko Hamada is designing the characters. Masafumi Mima is the sound director and Takayuki Negishi is composing music. Anime production is carried out by NHK, Kodansha and NHK Enterprise.
