As announced by Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, Bleach is getting two new novels, one of which is written by Ryohgo Narita, author of Baccano! and Durarara!!. The release is slated for spring 2017.

The story focuses on Shūhei Hisagi, who must throw himself into a new fight as the mystery that Kaname Tōsen left behind resurfaces. The story will reveal more details about the four noble families, the Soul King, Arrancar, and Fullbringers.

The second novel is written by Makoto Matsubara and is titled WE DO knot ALWAYS LOVE YOU. The story centers on Rukia and Renji's wedding ceremony in Soul Society and is expected to be released on December 27.
