The official site of Miyuki Abe’ s Super Lovers anime, updated its content providing information on both the story and the cast of the second season Super Lovers 2.

The story of the first season began with Haru, a high school boy who lived with his mother abroad. His mother entrusted him the care and the 'civilizing' of his adoptive brother Ren, a wild young boy who dislikes talking with other people. While their relationship was countering at first, they came closer when they started to understand each other.

The second season begins with the mother Haru, Haruko, stating she would bring Ren back to Switzerland. The website also revealed a new character, Natsuo Shiba, who is a paternal cousin of Kaidō brothers, known as "Natsu". 

The cast will return to their original roles. Specifically:

Regarding the production, Shinji Ishihira (Fairy Tail, Tenbatsu Angel Rabbie, Log Horizon) returns to direct the anime, Yoshiko Nakamura (Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East, Hakuōki, Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun) will be again in the supervision of the scripts, while Miki Takihara (Squid Girl, Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East, Yuri Kuma Arashi) returns to design the characters. The production remains at Studio DEEN and Nippon Columbia is composing the music.
