Boruto manga gets anime series in 2017
Ukyō Kodachi and Mikie Ikemoto's Boruto manga is getting anime series according to an announcement made at the Jump Festa event on Saturday, December 17th. The series will be entitled Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and will premiere in April 2017. In addition, TV Tokyo opened a website, revealing the new visual, the cast and a promotional video for the upcoming anime. You can watch the promotional video here.
Naruto and Boruto’s manga creator Masashi Kishimoto stated publicly that he intends to make the anime even better than Naruto.
The cast includes:
Yuko Sanpei as Boruto Uzumaki
Kokoro Kikuchi as Sarada Uchiha
Ryūichi Kijima as Mitsuki
Junko Takeuchi as Naruto Uzumaki
Kodachi and Ikemoto launched Boruto manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in May as a sequel to Naruto manga, starring his son Boruto. Boruto was the protagonist of Boruto -Naruto the Movie- and the manga has so far been an adaptation of that film.
