My Hero Academia's 3rd season premieres on April 7

The third volume of My Hero Academia: Vigilante (Vigilante: Boku no Hero Academia Illegals) spinoff manga was released, revealing on its wraparound jacket band, the premiere of My Hero Academia anime’s 3rd season, Kōhei Horikoshi's manga. The new anime series will premiere on April 7.

The third season will cover the Forest School Trip arc of the manga. The staff of the previous anime returns with Kenji Nagasaki as director at studio BONES. The scriptwriter is Yousuke Kuroda, while Yoshihiko Umakoshi serves as the character designer and Yuuki Hayashi the composer.

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is a creation of Betten Court (drawing) and Hideyuki Furuhashi (script), inspired by Kōhei Horikoshi’s original manga. Horikoshi launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014. It has inspired three television anime series. The first 13-episode season premiered in April 2016, while in April 2017, the second season followed with 25 episodes. My Hero Academia THE MOVIE will premiere in summer 2018. In addition to spinoff manga, video games have been based in its story.
