Boom Boom Satellites gets documentary
A documentary film for the Boom Boom Satellites band has taken the green light, as announced at the "Front Chapter - The Final Session" that took place last Sunday at Shinkiba Studio Coast in Tokyo. Bassist Masayuki Nakano performed at this concert, which marked the end of the band's 27 years activity.
Vocalist/guitarist Michiyuki Kawashima passed away on October 9, after suffering from partial paralysis as a result of the fourth brain tumor relapse. Nakano had announced last July that "Lay Your Hands On Me" would be their last release.
Boom Boom Satellites made their debut in Europe for the first time in 1997, and their 9th album titled Shine Like A Billion Suns was released in February 2015. The band created music for many anime projects with the latest and last song, the opening of Kiznaiver anime.
