2017 marks the 10th anniversary of Acid Black Cherry as a solo artist, and for its celebration, he will release the 5th studio album titled "Acid BLOOD Cherry". The upcoming album is part of the "BLOOD" project, which ties into the anniversary celebration and its release is expected on June 21.

The album will include 10 songs in total with "BAD BLOOD", the lead song of the album, and will be released in two editions (CD-Only version and CD DVD version). The DVD will contain the BAD BLOOD music video along with a discussion between Yasu and other artists about his career.

After the release of the album, Acid Black Cherry will begin a national tour titled Acid Black Cherry 2017 tour Blood History "BLACK × BLOOD. The tour will begin on August 14 and will end on September 27 with 11 appearances.
