It’s been a year since the last time that SID released new material and that was because vocalist Mao and bassist Aki had focused on their solo careers. However, it's about time to return as a band and this will be with a new single titled Glass no Hitomi. The release is slated for January 18.

The single will be available in four different editions, Regular, Limited Type A, Limited Type B and Limited pressing. All will have the same tracklist, but will differ in the extra goods that accompany them. The limited edition Type A contains the music video of Glass no Hitomi, the making of and a photo session. The limited edition Type B contains a 24-page photobook. The limited pressing has the characters from Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) as cover and contains a bonus item within the cardboard sleeve.

The title track of the single will be heard as the opening theme song in the newest Kuroshitsuji movie, Kuroshitsuji: Book of the Atlantic, which will premiere on January 21 in Japan. This is the third time that SID provide the opening song for this anime. The previous two were Monochrome no Kiss of the first season and ENAMEL of the third season of Kuroshitsuji.
