Utano ☆ Princesama Legend Star was the fourth season of the TV anime, which is an adaptation of Broccoli's dating simulation video game for female players. According to the story, in the first season, the female protagonist goes to a school for the performing arts, in which a lot of young men who are budding idols attend. This is how a seven-man group was formed named ST☆RISH, while the next seasons follow their evolvement.

The first season Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 1000% aired in 2011 and the second season Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 2000% followed in 2013. The third in the series season Uta no ☆ Prince-sama - Maji Love Revolutions premiered in 2015.
