About three years after the release of DOGMA in 2015, The GazettE announced their new album. The announcement was made during their live at The GazettE’s festival LIVE IN SUMMER 17 “BURST INTO A BLAZE 3” on August 19. The title is still unknown, but according to the teaser video streamed in their official YouTube and Facebook account, its release is slated for the spring 2018. As mentioned in the video, the new album will be the "next scene of [DOGMA]".

In addition, the band announced a series of four concerts titled HALLOWEEN NIGHT 17 SPOOKY BOX 2 THE SHOW HORROR SHOW. The live shows on October 25 and 30 will feature the concept of "Abyss", while the other two will take place on October 26 and 31 with the concept "LUCY".
