ERASED gets spinoff manga

ERASED or else Boku dake ga Inai manga may have come to an end, however, Kei Sanbe announced in the latest issue of Kadokawa’s Young Ace magazine that a new spinoff manga is planned. The title is Boku dake ga Inai Machi Gaiden and it will begin serializing in the July issue, which will be released on June 4. The original manga was completed this Friday and the 8th volume will be shipped on May 2.

The anime adaption premiered on January 7 and it is listed with 12 episodes. According to the anime’s official Twitter account, the series will represent the manga’s end and will end on March 24. The manga, also, inspired a live-action film that will open in Japan on March 19.

Sanbe began Boku dake ga Inai in 2012. In 2014 it was nominated in the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize 'Reader Award' as well as in last year's Manga Taisho Awards.
