Musician Kenichi Kurosawa passes away

The official website of the artist Kenichi Kurosawa announced on Wednesday that the artist, aged 48, passed away on Monday, December 5 at 3:52 a.m. due to a brain tumor.

Kenichi Kurosawa, born on August 11, 1968, was known not only for his solo career, but for his position as a vocalist and guitarist in the band L⇔R until 1997 when they disbanded. The band had 13 singles and 9 original albums in its records. After the disbandment, he began his solo career, releasing 6 singles and 7 albums. 

The artist has also contributed to the world of anime, as he provided the opening and the ending of the HunterX Hunter OVA, which was released in 2002. Moreover, he arranged the theme songs for the Hunter X Hunter: G I Final OVA, wrote the lyrics and composed the music of the songs "For Real" and "Still Time" for the anime Saiyuki.

His family held a private funeral, while the fans will be given an other date in the near future.
