Last July, SuG announced the hiatus of their activities for an indefinite period of time. On December 20, the band made a new announcement according to which they decided to put an end to their hiatus and completely disband. Their announcement marked the disbandment and there will be no other release or live show.

This announcement is a shock to the fans who were hoping to see them again in action. SuG went into hiatus since last September after the celebration of their 10th anniversary at Nippon Budokan.

The message of the band:

«We apologize deeply for the repeated sudden announcements.

Regarding the things the members had to say, we have said everything in the indefinite hiatus comments, and at the last live at Budokan.

We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts to all the fans and staff who have supported us over the 10 years from the beginning of our activities until the Nippon Budokan performance.

Thank you for these 10 years.
