Another popular visual kei band of the Japanese music scene disbands in 2016. The reason for BORN, who announced the unexpected news on their official website and will stop their activities this summer. All members expressed their gratitude towards the fans and apologized for this unpleasant announcement.

Specifically, vocalist Ryoga mentioned that the things he is able to do are not in accordance with his ideals, which is why there is no more confidence to continue. On the other hand, guitarist Ray announced that he will quit the music scene after the disband of the band, since he had decided from the start that BORN will be his last one.

After an eight years career, BORN will hold their last live performance on May 26th at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo. This live is also the 8^th anniversary of the band.
