Bad news for the fans of Visual Kei, since Mikuru, guitarist of the band RAVE, died on October 26, 2016 at 4:51p.m. The official announcement was made by PS Company, confirming his death. Last July, Mikuru took a break of the band’s activities in order to recover from illness, which remains secret, according to his wish.

Specifically, he said:

“I'm really really sorry for causing you worries. It seems like it will still take some time until I can be active again but I will definitely return healthy, so please wait for me.”

His funeral has already been held one day after his death with the attendance of his close friends and family. However, on November 14, they have scheduled two farewell ceremonies at DRUM Be-1 in Fukuoka and at Shibuya ZEAL LINK of Tokyo. The band members will not attend either of these two ceremonies, however, they thanked everyone who have supported them and hope that the fans will continue to do so, thinking about Mikuru’s wishes.
