18-year-old Rina Matsuno of Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku dies
Rina Matsuno, band member of Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku, died on Wednesday, February 8 at the age of 18 years old. The cause of death was an illness, which remains unspecified. In the early morning, she was transferred with an ambulance from her home in Tokyo to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The official website of Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku had announced on Tuesday that Matsuno could not appear at the concert planned in Osaka for health reasons. According to reports, her condition was not alarming until February 7, however, her health suddenly and unexpectedly deteriorated.
The band's activities were canceled on Wednesday, February 8, while the fans were shocked by her death. On February 7, had posted a photo on her Instagram account of the last trip with their parents, in which she appeared healthy and happy.
The 18-years-old idol was born on July 16, 1998 in Tokyo and she was in the entertainment industry since the first grade. She participated with her band in various commercials and modeled in fashion magazines, while she also acted in live-action films such as Joker Game Escape.
