One more chapter left for Bleach
Two weeks ago, an announcement was released that Tite Kubo’ s Bleach was going to end in 10 weeks. That means that the ending date of the manga estimated to be at around Mid-September. However, in the 35th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, information was included, indicating that Bleach will end in the double issue 36-37, which means that the manga will conclude at early August.
Fans, who were taken by surprise, started wondering if Shonen Jump was the one that pulled the plug on the longstanding manga series. Bleach’s sales have plummeted in recent years, while a possible cancellation was not at all unlikely to happen. In the chart below, we can see that Bleach, compared to other titles of the magazine, had very low sales. This created suspicion that the decision to end the manga earlier than expected, came from Shonen Jump and not from the creator, Tite Kubo.
However, Bleach will not be the only title that will end in the next double issue. Nisekoi manga will also publish the final chapter in issue 36-37 of Weekly Shonen Jump.
